Director of Business Planning Tubular Products
IPSCO is seeking to hire a Director of Business Planning Tubular Products. This is a new position located at the IPSCO Headquarters office in Lisle, Illinois.
This position is responsible for the overall management of IPSCO Tubular pricing strategy for all products. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of pricing including; development of pricing structure, approval and implementation of all pricing, and review and approval of deviations and exceptions. He/she will develop, implement and manage a computerized pricing modeling system and analyze and report on pricing in the field (actual versus model pricing). The position will also include the responsibility of overseeing contract pricing and bid proposals to assure the resulting pricing is consistent with guidelines and profitability goals as well as maintaining a data base of products, market, competitors, economic, industry and general sales intelligence.
The successful candidate should have a degree in Business Administration or Marketing coupled with a minimum of 5 years of commercial tubular experience in sales and/or pricing. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the tubular industry markets, products, customers, other tubular companies and pricing. Candidates must have strong analytical and negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong computer skills.
