Electronics Specialists

IPSCO Koppel Tubulars is seeking Electronics Specialists for our Baytown, Texas pipe and tube finishing facility.

As an Electronics Specialist you will:
  • Provide direct electrical, electronics support to the plant.
  • Provide some mechanical support as needed to assist the department.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot systems in a production environment. Position is responsible for troubleshooting PLCs, observing electrical and electronic devices/systems in operation to locate cause of problem.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and troubleshooting and repair production equipment.
  • Communicate with production department operators, supervisors and other plant personnel to understand the problem.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals.
Candidates will have minimum 5 years hands on experience or 3 years with appropriate formal training/education.
