Metallurgical Technologist

IPSCO Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SSAB, and with its Canadian steel works located in Regina, is accepting applications for the position of Metallurgical Technologist for its Research and Development Department.

A Metallurgical Technologist is required to participate in all aspects of IPSCO’s steel research program. Experience in welding, mechanical testing and metallographic analysis combined with experience in conducting metallurgical investigations is required. A good knowledge of data acquisition techniques would be a definite asset.

A diploma in Metallurgical Technology or a related field from a recognized technical institute is required coupled with three or more years of related experience.
