Over the last 50 years, IPSCO has become a leading edge
electric furnace flat rolled steel producer. Today, the Corporation is a leader in the development of high
strength steel and pipe and the largest producer of plate in North America. In July 2007, IPSCO became a wholly owned
subsidiary of SSAB, a leading Swedish steel company.
